For Customers
Kirana NearU is available free on Google Play for Android. Install from the Play Store, then sign up with your phone number in under a minute — no password needed.
After signing up, save your delivery address. The app automatically shows all verified local kirana stores in your area, sorted by proximity. You can browse products, check store hours, and place your order in just a few taps.
Yes. Every order goes through a live status timeline: Pending → Accepted → Packing → Out for Delivery → Delivered. You get in-app notifications at each stage so you always know where your order is.
A Delivery PIN is a 4-digit code shown in your app when your order is out for delivery. Share it with the delivery person to confirm handover. This prevents false delivery reports and ensures your order is handed to the right person.
Kirana NearU supports UPI payments. Your payment goes directly to the store owner's UPI ID — Kirana NearU never holds or processes your money. Cash on delivery may also be offered by individual stores at their discretion.
You can cancel an order while it is in the "Pending" state — before the store accepts it. Once the store accepts your order, cancellation is not available as the store may have already begun packing.
Contact the store first through the app for missing, wrong, or expired items. If unresolved, contact support at [email protected] or [email protected]. Refunds and replacements are handled by the respective store owner.
Yes. You can save multiple addresses (home, office, family, etc.) and pick the right one at checkout each time.
For Store Owners
Download Kirana NearU Merchant from Google Play, sign up with your business phone number, enter your store name, address, and category, then upload your KYC documents. Our team reviews your store details and verification documents. Once approved, your store can start receiving orders.
KYC verification requires a valid business identity proof. Accepted documents may include Aadhaar, PAN, GST registration, or a shop registration certificate. Exact requirements are shown in the Owner App during registration.
Link your business UPI ID in the Owner App. Customers pay directly to your UPI ID at checkout — the money goes straight to you with no intermediary holding your funds. Your revenue dashboard tracks all incoming payments.
Delivery is the responsibility of the store owner. You can use your own delivery staff or any local delivery service. Kirana NearU provides order management tools but does not assign delivery personnel on your behalf.
Yes. Use the Schedule section in the Owner App to configure daily opening and closing times and mark specific dates as closed, so customers won't see your store as available on those days.
The built-in credit module lets you record purchases made on credit by trusted regular customers, track outstanding balances, and log repayments — all inside the app. This replaces the traditional paper khata.
After KYC approval you choose a plan. The Free plan allows a limited number of monthly orders. The Pro plan (₹499/month) unlocks unlimited orders, a full product catalog, UPI payment management, priority listing, and advanced analytics.

Kirana NearU serves neighbourhoods across India. Open the app and enter your address to see if stores are available in your area. We are expanding rapidly — new cities are added every month.
No. Kirana NearU does not process, store, or have access to your bank account details, UPI PIN, card numbers, or any financial credentials. All payments are made directly through your UPI app. Kirana NearU simply facilitates the connection between you and the store.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit. We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform. We never sell your data to third parties. Customer data is shared only with the relevant store owner to fulfill your order. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
